Frequently Asked Questions

How quickly can S&B come out for a leak or storm damage?

Call the office closest to you and we will get an inspection scheduled. After a widespread hail or wind event the calendar fills quickly, so calling early gets you on it sooner. Inspections are free and carry no obligation.

Do inspections cost anything?

No. Roof inspections are free and come with no obligation. You get a written, photo-documented report you can keep or forward to your insurance carrier, whether or not you hire us.

What areas does each office cover?

The Keller head office covers the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex, including Southlake, Colleyville, Westlake, Trophy Club, Flower Mound, Grapevine, Fort Worth, and Dallas. The College Station office covers College Station, Bryan, and the surrounding Brazos Valley. The San Antonio office covers San Antonio and nearby communities such as Alamo Heights, Stone Oak, Schertz, and Boerne.

What should I have ready when calling about an insurance claim?

Your carrier name and policy number, your deductible, the approximate date of the storm, and any claim number if you have already filed. We write our estimates in Xactimate — the same software most carriers use — and our two in-house claims specialists can meet the adjuster on site.
